Rebranding and website design for a rural business

The Brief

Wye Lavender had an existing logo that reflected the company’s rural home industry beginnings. However, as the company had developed, it had outgrown the original design. In addition, the brand’s website had neither e-commerce nor social media functionality and was not properly optimised for search. The client came to us to reinvigorate the brand and to rebuild the website from the ground up.

We created a sophisticated, modern identity that still reflects its rural heritage. It suggests that the company has existed for some considerable time. The flexibility afforded by the combination mark of type and icon enables the client to utilise the logo in a number of ways. This is always a key consideration for us. We applied the design to sales tags, business stationery and more.

The website was developed on a WordPress platform for ease of use by the client and we carried out CMS training for her too. It’s a fully responsive site and is performing excellently in Google rankings, achieving top of page listing against the most relevant search terms.

“I would like to thank Jon Sloan and his talented team for my new e-commerce website and redesign of my logo and brand image. This has certainly helped Wye Lavender to project the professional image it needs in order to grow and develop. I can highly recommend the excellent services of An.x Agency and thank them for the help and backup they continue to give me.”

The client’s business has grown since the rebrand and they have expanded their service offer. They’re very happy with the results.
