The South Wilts Business Of The Year Awards were launched back in 2000 and have supported hundreds of local companies across South Wiltshire, recognising their efforts in delivering business excellence. The organisers needed to refresh the brand to work alongside a change in venue to the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral. The goal was to establish a logo that would be flexible enough to be amended for each year’s event but also consistent over time. Once created, we were tasked to apply it to the promotional materials and entry forms, develop a fully responsive website and create signage and banners to dress the venue on the awards night.
The final design is a simple logotype that is clear and readable and incorporates a small pennant icon that bounds the changeable part of the identity. The pennant’s colour fill can be changed annually along with the year date. All the promotional materials have been delivered and were well received. The website has a clean layout and clear messaging and navigation routes.
